So you’ve got some great field marketing experience that makes you a strong candidate to join our team. You’ve read through this site, taken a look at our blogs, talked with your peers and now you’re ready to apply. You’re anxious to get out there and be at the top of the Brand Ambassador food chain – well don’t get your hopes up yet. We’re very selective who we choose and we take our time when building out teams for our clients. This isn’t a warehouse of resumes and photos, it’s a top-shelf resource of hand selected talent. If you think you have what it takes, lets see what you got.
How long does it take to become a true brand evangelist? 2 hours? 2 days? Hardly! We embrace training like no other company. We train for 2 to 4 weeks based on the complexity of the program. No field member hits the field until they are setup for success, our client’s success! They truly are an extension of the brand they represent.
Here’s the secret sauce, the silver bullet, the Top 5 most important things to consider in an experiential marketing program (I can see our competition scribbling as we speak):
One more thing; you gotta love people.
To start the process, you’ll need a resume with at least three references, a recent (past six months) full-color head-shot & body-shot. The rest of the information you will fill out on line and submit. Include a well-crafted cover letter that shows off your ability to communicate is something we strongly recommend. You’ll be able to come back in and update your information and photos as your credentials change and improve. We will call you directly soon after we’ve reviewed your materials and let you know where you stand in the process.
How do I get a Brand Ambassador, Market Manager, Travelling Field Ambassador,
Promotional Modeling or any other position with PPT?
Bribe Julie Doherty. In addition to that, you would need to exemplify you’re hard working, have high energy, are outgoing, have a strong worth ethic with problem solving abilities, and a fun personality – be someone that leaves a great impression with every person you meet!
If I am hired on a nationwide tour what does 100% travel mean?
It means you will be traveling 100% of the time. It means for the entire length of your tour you are on the road, away from home, 7 days a week (unless there’s an event in your home town which in that case you might want to say hello to the family and possible get a home cooked meal before leaving again).
What’s the typical length of a tour?
There isn’t a typical length of a tour – it varies program to program. You could be out for 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 11 months – and anywhere in between.
How long does training take?
It depends what you are hired for. A Brand Ambassador or Market Manager could train for hours or days depending on the program. A Field Ambassador would train up to a couple weeks or more depending on the program. A Field Ambassador or Tour Manager that would need a CDL A license would train for up to 4 weeks. Other positions vary depending on the program and responsibilities. Never fear though!!! You will receive the training you need to be successful!
So will I ever get a chance to talk to someone at Pro People Teams?
Of course! You will not work for us if you haven’t ever talked to someone live. Once you register, we will reach out to you directly. If something comes up that you are a fit for, we will contact you directly to get your availability/interest only. We will contact you again to explain the details of the job and to see if you are indeed a fit. This will happen each time you work for us! So hopefully you will talk to us so much you know about our kids, etc.
I hear you are based in Saint Louis; do you have any in-office positions available?
Once you are here, you never want to leave (maybe it’s the St. Louis weather or the best baseball team around), so we usually only hire because of company growth; however there are a few ways to break into the office when there is a position open. The first is to be a fabulous Brand Ambassador or go out on the road and be a one-of-a-kind Field Ambassador. We like to hire our great field people to come work in the office since they just “get it!” Another way to get hired in the office is to show us who you are, what you’ve done, why you want to work for us, and what makes you stand out above the rest (you can do this via a resume or video resume). Then cross your fingers!
